Lindsay Dolce Named Chief Executive Officer

We’re proud to announce that Lindsay Dolce has been promoted to Chief Executive Officer of Ampact! Bringing more than two decades of leadership in the public and nonprofit sectors, Dolce is uniquely qualified to lead Ampact into its next chapter of expanded national impact. She previously served as the organization’s Chief Policy and Growth Officer.

The announcement comes after an impressive decade of leadership from Dolce, who spearheaded the organization’s fundraising, public policy, and expansion efforts. During her tenure, she doubled philanthropic and state investments to expand proven educational programs like Reading Corps to 12 states, with more markets to come.

“Lindsay has been relentless in advancing Ampact’s vision—bringing urgency, discipline, and an unwavering belief that every child deserves access to proven educational support,” said Board Chair Kim Plahn. “Her leadership has expanded our reach, strengthened our partnerships, and delivered measurable impact for students across the country. We are confident she is the right leader to accelerate our next phase of national growth.”

A proven growth strategist and attorney by training, Dolce has dedicated her career to helping mission-driven organizations secure the resources, partnerships, and infrastructure needed to scale their impact. She began her career as a judicial law clerk and domestic violence prosecutor and later worked for U.S. Sens. Christopher “Kit” Bond and J. Robert Kerrey in Washington, D.C. Prior to joining Ampact, Dolce served as Executive Director of Serve Colorado, where she oversaw the state’s AmeriCorps programs.

“I am inspired by the extraordinary impact of these programs and the students and communities we serve every day,” said Dolce. “In this role, I am committed to ensuring that many more children—no matter their zip code—have access to high-impact, evidence-based support that helps them succeed in school and in life.”

Looking Ahead

Under Dolce’s leadership, Ampact will focus on expanding strategic partnerships and service opportunities nationwide. The organization’s education programs – Reading Corps, Math Corps, and Early Learning Corps – served more than 58,000 students this school year.
